I'm currently running Windows 7 bootcamp but need to upgrade to W10 for software compatibility. I've searched around the forum and I can't find a definitive explanation on how to upgrade 'safely'. I have an AMD HD 7950-flashed- so I have bootscreens. From what I've read I'm assuming I need to re-install Windows 7, install bootcamp 5.1 drivers, THEN upgrade to Windows 10 (using the media creation tool?) with a DVD. I don't know if I can just do a clean install upgrade from my W7 since bootcamp drivers might fail to install afterwards? Would be easier.
Taking a look at: https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...ut-a-boot-screen.2114788/page-9#post-26689280 I'm not sure if this guide 100% applies to what I'm trying to do since this is for without a bootscreen. Step 4/5 confuse me, will my disk setup look like this?/ do I need to remove every drive except the SSD for windows?
In my current boot selection screen I have 3 Drives that show up;
Mojave - Windows(actual) - Windows
I don't know why the 3rd one is there, it showed up when I cloned my previous HDD onto this new SSD (Previous HDD is now storage). Sorry for all the questions, I'd like to upgrade but don't want to accidentally run over an important step and end up bricking the machine.
