Will there be a second-generation butterfly mechanism in this or any of the other 2016 MacBook Pro features?

Apple said the 2nd generation was designed for a professional notebook and since its slightly thicker, it could stay on the MBPs. If it comes to the MacBook I hope it's quieter.

Don't think this will happen. I'm rooting for a 2017 model though! C'mon Apple I wanna buy a new MacBook but not one that has last years tech in it. Yes I'm aware that Kaby Lake isn't a big upgrade from Skylake.

that would really be the only reason it would not make it to the rMB IMO. I really wish they would just bring the new magic keyboards to the laptops. It is my favorite keyboard to date.
