Queuing music in iOS 10

I know I'm very late to the party but I figured I might as well ask now. In previous iterations of iOS (at least OS 9, I can't remember beyond that) you could queue a song to play next and then queue songs afterwards ('add to up next'). In iOS 10 that feature seems to be gone. Say I'm in the middle of a playlist and want to hear two songs outside of the playlist next, the first song will play next but the second song is queued to play after the entire up next, the whole playlist.

I know you can manually drag and drop songs in the queue but that's not a good work-around. So is it me or is this feature simply gone?

I miss this feature as well. If you're in a playlist you can't queue up songs that are outside of that playlist, but if you play a song from an album, you can queue up songs from other albums. It makes no sense.

Apple Support has informed me that if your playlist is more than 50 songs, the option will be unavailable. I'm not sure why they did this though.

That's weird!

After some tests, what I find is when the playlist has more than 50 songs, the music app only allows me to "play next", not "play last". And seems that 50 songs limit is here. Guess it is to prevent the list from becoming too long.
