I need to download the 1.1.1 firmware to downgrade from 1.1.2 but do not know where to get it...

Where can i download the 1.1.1 firmware?

First, what do you want it for? If you want to 'downgrade' a new iPhone that shipped with 1.1.2, well, there is nothing that you can do on a downgraded-to-1.1.1 that you can't do on a native 1.1.2 phone. (i.e. downgrading to 1.1.1 won't allow you to unlock your phone.)

Second, if you really want 1.1.1 for some other reason, you can get it direct from Apple: http://content.info.apple.com/iPhone/061-3883.20070927.In76t/iPhone1,1_1.1.1_3A109a_Restore.ipsw

Hate to say it, but you do have to downgrade to 1.1.1 in order to jailbreak, and re-upgrade to 1.1.2.

I guess you forgot how to read when it came to those sections of info...
