I had a 1.1.3jb phone, but it kept crashing, so I'm starting over. I did a restore of 1.1.3, then downgraded to 1.1.1. I got it jailbroken with the newest (2/1/08) version of AppSnap (which automatically OktoPreps, among other things), but now I'm a bit confused. Do I have to downgrade the baseband (under Modem Firmware, my iPhone says 04.03.13_G)? What happens if I don't? On the latest update of modiphone.com, it says nothing about downgrading the baseband.

iTunes won't recognize my phone and activate it, so I can't upgrade the firmware. It's saying that my phone backup is "corrupt or not compatible with the iPhone that is being restored".

This is an iPhone bought on day 1, btw (1.0.0 OTB).

you should be able to connect it to your computer are upgrade it too 1.1.2 if it is 'oktoprep'ed. then when u soft upgrade to 1.1.3 using the official 1.1.3 upgrader on the installer. and u will then have it on 1.1.3 so the baseband will be right :) pm me with any questions i did it today.
