Quick Adium Question

I just upgraded from AIM to Adium. Can I now uninstall AIM or just Adium need to use it? Thanks.

Adium and AIM are totally separate. You can uninstall AIM and it will not bother Adium one bit.

How can I completely uninstall AIM? Do I just drag it to the trash or do I need to delete other add-ons that came with it?

Unless AIM comes with an uninstaller, no. Some programs like appzapper will do cleaning for you, otherwise I'd delete the application support (/Library/Application Support/AIM) at least, and maybe it's preferences too, though none of that is really necessary. Isn't there a plugin manager in AIM?
