Hey, I want to return my iMac. I purchased it Nov.2, and due to apple's holiday return policy Im allowed to return it till Jan.8th
http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APP...=browse&mco=735D05D9&node=help/returns_refund

I have a few problems with the iMac, one is the screen gradient, and the second is the hum emanating from the computer.

Now i was wondering, Since i bought this at an Apple Store...is it possible for me to return it over the phone somehow and not have to goto the store?
and would returning the iMac because of the Hum and the Gradient issue, waive the restock fee?

Thanks :)

Usually Apple's policy tends to be that for returns or most service calls you have to return it in the way that you got it. So if you ordered it online you can use phone but if you bought in a store they typically want you to go back to that same store.

As for waiving the restock fee, be nice to the manager and ask them. Its under their discretion, but don't go in expecting it.
