On my last Macbook Pro (2.0ghz, Core Duo) Battery Calibration, I allowed it to come to a full charge and then rest in the full charged state for 2 hours as Apple recommends and then allowed the battery to completely discharge, leaving it for 5 hours once it went into force sleep and then charging it completely full again.

My question is, during my the discharge, I turned the computer off because I needed to take it with me somewhere. If the discharge is interrupted by turning off the power, or sleep, does the calibration still properly occur or does the battery need to discharge from full to empty without interruption for it to calibrate properly?

Did you ever find an answer to this? Or, did your calibration seem fine afterward? Same thing happened to me and I am now in the 5 hour 'resting' phase.
