Quick Draw game problems (with 2.2?): can't see what they draw?

After updating my iPhone to 2.2, I usually (but not always) can no longer see what people draw.

I know someone IS drawing because other players are guessing correctly. (And when it's my turn to draw, that works fine.)

Deleting and re-installing the app doesn't help, nor rebooting the iPhone.

Anyone else having this problem? Is it 2.2 related? It was fine before that--and a very fun game! (Just don't forget to blow the whistle on cheaters!)

Ugh, apple loves to screw up apps with their updates . I would test, but it's too late, no one around.

Mine sometimes does this with the 2.1 firmware.

I see. Maybe some in-between server is involved, and having problems. I'll keep trying and see if it returns to normal.

Yeah, I used to get that in 2.1 as well. Not a 2.2 issue.

Is it worse after 2.2? I never had a problem before, but now I can almost NEVER see the game. The timing with 2.2 could be coincidence though.

I've reported it to Swipe support just in case.

...and got a nearly-instant response.

It IS a bug caused by 2.2, and they're hoping to fix it this weekend. (In my experience, that means about another week until the update is available online.)

It seems that here's a Quick Draw patch coming even sooner, submitted before 2.2, but it fixes other issues. The version AFTER that will be the 2.2 "invisible drawing" fix.

So wait for TWO updates and all should be well

In the mean time, I'll amuse myself with Fieldrunners.
