I make extensive use of Finder tags to help organize a large photo library. The tags are for places, people, events, etc. AFAIK, there are two ways to assign tags: either drag the file or folder over to the Finder sidebar to the desired tag, or Get Info on the file or folder and specify the tag there. Both are tedious in my mind. I would really like an app that shows a photo (or selection of photos) and the list of all tags (as in the Finder sidebar), maybe in a separate window or panel from the photo. For a given photo or group of photos, one would simply click on all the tags that apply (no dragging of files or typing of tag names).

Does anyone know of such an app, or one that operates similarly?
