Quick Giftcard question.

I have a $537.67 giftcard to the apple store. I much rather have cash though. I was planning on maybe selling it on craigslist for $500... Does anyone have any experience with giftcards? I'm wondering If i go in to the apple store and buy something with the giftcard and then return it the next day unopened can i get a cash refund??

I imagine that since your receipt would say that it was paid with a gift card they would want to return the money to a gift card. Check the refund policy cause my answer is just an educated guess.
