Quick help with ATV

I just rented a movie on Itunes but for the life of me cannot figure out how to sync it to ATV. My regular movies are there, along with music and pictures but do not see the movie I rented anywhere in ATV.

That requires the new Apple TV software update, which hasn't been released yet.

That requires the new Take 2 update to the TV, you kind of jumped the gun there.

Tried that too. It wasn't all that clear when the rentals started, and iTunes help did include instructions for moving rentals to tv.

Since then, this clarification was released: How to rent a movie from the iTunes Store on your computer

We'll have to wait just a bit longer, I'm afraid. Also, if your target is the tv, you'll get better quality (480 minimum vertically for SD) renting directly from the tv. iTunes rentals will still be a maximum of 640px wide - putting widescreen features at 640x384 (IIRC).
