Quick Look not working

Prior to Yosemite I could right click on a file in Finder and choose Quick Look, the file would open so I could preview it.

Since Yosemite, some of the files pop open but they are in like miniature form, cannot read at all.

What am I not doing right?

After reading some posts on the Apple support site, it seems this is a problem with documents created with the new Pages 5.5. Older docs appear fine in quick look, but not new files.

Ugh just another Apple glitch that eventually they'll send update for.
