A little annoyed about people saying that the chin is necessary because that where the computer is but iPad Pro is even thinner and fits the same chip behind better screen, the thickeness is only necesarry for ports and headphone jack do not even fit and have to be at the side, I think they could taper the bottom of the back so all ports fit, like that but make it obviously better than this quick mockup

What do you think? (sorry for poor English)

Such a design would mean the original aluminum block would have to be that thick and then they would have to machine most of it away. This is not environmentally friendly (even with recycling, smelting aluminum is a very energy-intensive process) and it is also very expensive because you have the cost of the original block - most of which you will then discard via machining. So you'd end up with a more expensive production process which means a more expensive end-product.

Not necessarily, they could use separate block and use friction stir welding or something to seamlessly join them just like they did with 2012 design

I don't like the mockup of the stand, it just has no aesthetics, and it's not height adjustable. Time to go back to the drawing board until you can come up with a better design for the stand.

I don't think it likely you'll get Jonny Ive's job.
