Quick quesion, do i set up as new or restore iphone?

Yea... i'm in the process of jailbreaking and would like to have my old numbers and settings back. i'm on the itunes screen

set up new iphone

or

restore from back up of...

What do i click on? if I restore will I loose the jailbreak? But I want my old apps and contacts back too.

Restore from the back up is the one I did, and it put everything alright.

But, of course I just jailbroke my iphone today, so yeah.

Restore from backup is fine.

Personal preference. I prefer new.

I set it up to restore. Got all my old stuff back and everything is great. cant believe I waited this long to jailbreak it.
