Resolved Quick question about RAM.

Would this be compatible with my 2011 15.4' MBP?

I googled and there seems to be some confusion (or atleast I'm confused). Just wanted to make absolutely sure before I buy.

No. That is desktop memory, and will not fit in a Macbook Pro.

you're going to want to look at laptop modules that is equivalent to the frequency it was shipped with.

"100% Tested and Verified on Intel P55 chipset" - P55 is a desktop chipset.

240-pin DDR3 is desktop, 204-pin DDR3 is laptop. Plus, the picture gave it away.
