earth, for now.
K, so I was watching a video on youtube (ya, I know..youtube.. lol) and this guy, who does alot of unboxing video of tech stuff.. hes from ukraine.. and his iphone looks the same and all, but it has different ports and switches? he had a physical vibrate switch, on and off.. did i miss something but does the iphone here have that?

Im guessing it has to do with patent laws and something or other, and they have more in countries over across the pond? (im in New Brunswick, Canada - do u know where that is? lol! )

Whats ur thoughts? and dont be to harsh... I heard there were trolls lerking around. bah-ha I said troll.

Seriously? It's just the silent switch every iPhone has?

Do you own an iPhone? If so set it down on the table on it's back (where the Apple logo is), hold up your left hand, bring it down to the side of your phone (the thin edge), move it towards the top, feel that switch? Yeah that's the silent switch that exists on every single iPhone manufactured to date all over the world.

A silent switch is far from an original idea from Apple nor would it not exist on a phone sold outside the US.

hmm.. if so, then I will admit Im lost and confused, but .. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tG63_8FYR4Y thats the video.

hes from ukraine but just wait till a minute or so, and then he talks about how the case has flaps on the edge near the opening and you can see how it looks .. i dunno? different?

I can't check the vid as i'm curretnly at work but i'm sure someone else will very soon..

[And verify it's either the silent switch or not an iPhone!)

It is the silent switch.. all iPhones should have that.. it's right above the volume button

This is from the link. As the others said, it's the silent switch.

As the my iPhone only has one working speaker threads.

Dude!!!!! Mine only has one speaker! WTF, I see two down there but sound only comes out of one of mine! Should I take it back to the apple store and have em swap it out or should I just suck it up? ;)

Drop it in water and get an OOW replacement for $199. :D

But Apple does it the right way. Have you ever seen a more beautiful silent switch?
