Last night I loaded a cracked app to my phone and when I went to check the iTunes store for legitimate updates I get the following message "iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable". It's still that way this morning. Did iTunes black list my account? I deleted the cracked app and still get the message...same message on my wifes phone (which isn't jailbroken).

Thanks

They can't know. The Store is down for now; that's what "temporarily unavailable" means.

Ok thanks brother, must have been a coincidence then since it happened right after I installed it.

Out of curiosity how does iTunes handle cracked apps that have since been updated by the Dev?

Is iTunes still down for anyone here? I only get the message when checking for updates.

App Store is still down. Just checked on my iPhone 3G.

Also, from my experience, if you install cracked apps using the IPA method in iTunes, they WILL NOT update. You'll just have to download the cracked and updated IPA, then delete the app from "Applications" in iTunes, and re-add it using the IPA method and you're good to go. I've done that on a few of my apps lately.

I appreciate the staight answer thanks. Also it seems like iTunes is back up. Might want to try now
