I'm about to send out a file for print. It contains outlined text and a couple of 300dpi cmyk jpeg's (embedded). I'm saving the file in Illustrator CS4 as a PDF for High Quality Print (Acrobat 5), and the rest of the tabs are set as default (as per printer). Is it ok to uncheck "preserve illustrator editing capabilities" if it's only going to be printed, and not edited? Reason I ask is that the file comes out to be about 13mb if I don't, and 3mb if I uncheck it (easier to attach in email). Will it still remain a high quality print file after this?
