What kind of cable do I need to get to connect my macbook air to a tv or external monitor? I'm thinking of using a HDMI cable.

Is it mini DV to HDMI or DVI-to-HDMI?

Whatever Mini DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapter you get, make sure it can also pass audio. Not all of them do, particularly the ones on MonoPrice.

I bought this Griffin one for my 13" MBP. Works great. Right now it is listed for $24, though yesterday it was $6. Make sure you get it, or any other one, for a good price.

oh awesome, thanks for the tip and the links! I almost bought the first one but it said there's no audio so i'll look for something else. :)
