So I hear iPhoneBrowser/other USB transfer programs are the way to go if you aren't experienced with command line. I found a few .ipas online (NOT cracked IPAs to be clear, they are ones that were in the App store at one point but removed by Apple for one reason or another. I think most people familiar with jailbroken phones already know how to find paid apps for free, so this thread isn't about those, or how to do them.) and I want to put them on the phone. All the results I find in Google are about synching cracked .IPAs through iTunes, or putting cracked apps on via SSH, neither of which help me as these aren't cracked .IPAs. I just need to know if I can drag and drop them onto the phone with iPhoneBrowser and if so, what folder do they go in sincethere are about a billion lol. If it's not as simple as drag and drop then how would I do it, using iPhoneBrowser on a jailbroken 3.0FW 3GS?

Unfortunately, you'll need to find cracked versions of those apps to have them work on your device. All uncracked IPAs are tied to the iTunes account used to download them, even if they were free, and you can't load them onto your iPhone unless you are logged into the correct iTunes account.

Would apps that were free originally in the store work? Or would the versions I have found to DL be "cracked" already? I mean I'm pretty sure the ones I have were free apps when they were in the store, but if people put them up to DL now then they must be useable right? I hate to talk about cracked apps because that's not my intention, and I'm pretty sure they're free apps, but I do have these .IPAs and I'm assuming they're able to be used on the phone because why would people post the file if not? I'm just wondering, assuming the files are even useable, how to put them on via iPhoneBrowser?

Try dragging those ipa files into itunes. If they are cracked, and your ipod is modified to accept cracked apps, they will install.
