Does the Magic Keyboard work with my late 09 27” iMac?

This is the one I’m talking about. I can get it for 70 euros from someone, and I wanted to make sure it works with my iMac. Thanks for the help.

It has more chance of working wired than over Bluetooth with your older Mac. And if it doesn't work with your Mac, you can resell it for the same price or more - these keyboards hold their value well.

So if I have the wired one already with the numeric keyboard, I don’t really need those wireless one?

The only reason to get a wireless keyboard is if you don't want it tethered to your computer. Outside of that, they function exactly the same way... only one has batteries that can run down which need to be recharged and as others have mentioned, requires a certain level of Bluetooth in order to communicate.

In a nutshell, wireless isn't better and wired is always more reliable. Since keyboards tend to stay put, the fact that they are tethered isn't a big deal. Mice on the other hand can be obnoxious if wired depending on what you use your computer for.

If you have no compelling need for a wireless keyboard, stick with wired.

This page says it works with an iMac from 2014 onwards, probably because of the Bluetooth version:

So you'll be using this new wireless one with a wire anyway! Which is fine... My wireless keyboard is always wired.
