Can't find anything definitively, but 16GB RAM (2x8GB) can't go in the 13 inch MBP, correct? I remember a few months back it needed to be the 15 inch 2.2 or better due to RAM voltage (1.5v and it was 1.35v) I think.

8GB modules can be had for less (Newegg?), I just linked you to that site, to see, that their modules are supported in 13" MBPs from 2011.
