Just got a replacement 5S. on iOS 7.1.2. The replacement has these stuck green pixels right in the middle of screen.

Apple wants to replace the screen but my phone is jailbroken. How can I get the JB off without losing 7.1.2?

Thanks.

I did that to my iPod, plug it in into i tunes and hit the restore button

Well that's a huge bummer. Anyone ever have a stuck pixel fixed by those YouTube videos?

What's weird is I can see the stuck pixel on low brightness but on full brightness it goes away.

So I tested it. On low brightness the little green pixel stands out and is really bright. When I turn on brightness higher the green pixel starts slowly going away and can't see it. So strange.

But I always use my phone with about 30% brightness so the green pixel is very noticeable. About 5 of them

The fact that it's one solid color is a good thing because it shows it's a stuck pixel and not a dead one most likely would be white on a iPhone because how the backlight works but sometimes dead ones are black... Anyways, I have had them kind of videos work on a Sony psp that had about 15 solid blue pixels and after leaving it on charge and playing a repeat pixel fixer over night it did work for me, not sure about iPhone but should be about the same I would assume... You have nothing to lose tho trying
