Quick question

I've just jailbroken my iphone yesterday without any problems. However now, I've noticed two things. One, its constantly in 3g mode, won't switch to edge at all. Its in 3g mode even when I have it turned to off in settings. Two, minor but no usage information at all. Doesn't give me the usage time I've had. Are these things that are suppose to happen? If not, is there a fix?

Did you install a theme that maybe has a 3G icon installed with the theme. and is on always?

Well, may i ask for the version of your iPhone? 2.1? I assume it to be 2.1 since u said there should be a fix. Since you have jailbreak your iPhone, u can try downloading BossPrefs from Cydia, it can turn off or on a wifi etc. Maybe it might work. For the usage time, u can try to charge fully your battery through a powerpoint rather than through a computer.
