I searched and couldn't find the info I need. What is the difference between Pwnage and Redsn0w? Looking to jailbreak, any advice or ideas would be great.

PwnageTool = You create a custom IPSW and then use iTunes to restore to the IPSW.

redsn0w = You upgrade to the official 3.0 software with iTunes, and then redsn0w jailbreaks your device.

PwnageTool offers a lot more customization, but for plenty of people, redsn0w is all that's necessary. Either one is rather quick and painless though. If you're already running 3.0, I'd use redsn0w, otherwise, go for PwnageTool.

You couldn't have looked very hard !!

Both do the same thing, redsn0w is just about idiot proof.

If you have a PPC Mac, only redsn0w .72 will work for you.

If you have windoze or an Intel Mac, Pawnage or Redsn0w will work.

If you read some of the other threads, you will find links to tutorials on how to use both.
