I have an appointment at the apple store in an hour and I restored my phone so it would not be jailbroken. Everything was undone (themes, 5icon dock, cydia & icy icon, etc) EXCEPT the battery %. Does anyone have any suggestions? I tried turning the phone on and off, but it stayed there.

When you restored, did you set it up as new or did you restore a backup?

I think I did. I restored using the official iPhone1,2_3.1.2_7D11_Restore.ipsw then after that, I chose my most recent back up. Am I doing it wrong?

You need to set it up as new. When you come back from the Apple store, you can restore from your previous backup to get your text messages back.

Alright, thank you very much. I'll do that since I'm short on time. But I could have sworn everything was fine the last time I had to do this :/

Anyway, thank you for your quick help! :)

If it is a 3GS, you can turn it off in settings on a stock iPhone. You didn't say whether or not you have a 3G or 3GS so I thought I'd throw that out there.

Good luck to ya...
