I must admit I have spent quite a long time on Internet before finding out what I was looking for: a superior leather band able to perfectly fit into my AW4 44mm SG. No particular $ target, just looking at the best quality to enrich my AW with some elegance which is missing with the standard band.

Why did I end up with Bandwerk?
They were the only one that I have found online offering a pretty rich selection of options for their bands, in particular:

- Differentiation between AW series 1-3 and 4 (which I really like because means taking care of the details, creating bands that perfectly fit into your watch)
- Differentiation by metal/color of your watch (same comment as above)
- Optional butterfly clasp (which I love)
- Optional laser engraving (nice option even if I din't buy it)

When it was matter of deciding about the band to buy and after having realized that the amazing Mercedes Pagode Limited Edition was already sold out (https://bandwerk.com/product/pagode-edition-dark-brown-apple-watch-band/) I went for an Ostrich brown band from the Zurich collection (https://bandwerk.com/product/ostrich-brown-apple-watch-band/), which offers also a complimentary milanese loop like band.

The delivery was pretty rapid (less than a week) and when I have received the two bands they met my all expectations: both bands fit perfectly into the watch, look solid and are made with high quality materials.

Some picture here below:

Sport loop (comes with standard color so it can’t be personalized as the leather one but it was complimentary so it’s fine)

Closer look to the butterfly clasp (my only negative vote is here as the clasp is shiny black and doesn’t really match the SG color of the links, otherwise for me would have been a 10/10)

In conclusion I’m very happy with the Bandwerk bands and I look forward to see their next special editions with bands made from leather of luxurious cars from ‘50 or ‘60.

If you are looking for a top product, it’s definitely one of the best options out there.
