Quick simple one - audio input application

Can't remember for the life of me what it's called, and i have to record a lecture in 40 minutes! It was installed on my iBooks, but I don't think my PB has anything I can just grab sounds from the mic in with... does it?

N.B. if it doesn't, please point me to one which can

I'm recording from a minidisc player plugged into line-in as I speak. I use sound studio from felt tip software (www.felttip.com).

Well... your new computer probably came with GarageBand, which I would assume does everything that Sound Studio did, plus much much more. It's not that surprising that Apple doesn't include Sound Studio.
