Quick site access in Safari?

Hi,

My MBA is very old. The Safari version is 11.12. I have quick site access like this on it.

Today I get my new M1 MBA and I can't find a way to add site for quick access. How do we do it in new Safari?

Whilst on the website you want, press Command+D to add a bookmark. Make sure you add the bookmark to 'Favourites' and name it something that works for you (such as 'MacRumors')....like this...

Then go to the View menu and ensure you show the 'Favourites' bar.
