Quick Time trouble.

I could really use som help....
My QuickTime player won't play Divx any more. I have the Divx app/plugin or whatever it's called, but when opening a Divx file QickTime tells me it's unable to play the fileto download additional software, and directs me "QuickTime Components" download page. Is there some other plugin I need to play Divx files?
Now I have to use Mplayer, and it's annoying

You need combination of the Divx and 3Vix codecs to playback .AVI files from QT. Or you can download VLC. http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
