I want to put my ~3GB iPhoto Library on my 10GB iDisk as backup.

Finder estimates this will take about 3 months.

Is there a better way to do this, can it be done in stages?

Transmit. Free trial - comes with MobileMe favourites.

Of course, uploading that much will take a long time. It depends on your upload speed. Do a Speed Test to determine your upload speed.

On an upload speed of 60KB/s, it'll take about 14 hours.

Definitely do it in stages. Break it down into sections of what 500MB's. Just in case an upload fails which does happen.

Cool I have Transmit. Will give it a try.
