I want to buy a MacBook Pro 2016 15' for my brother. His birthday is Dec 9th. I want to hand him the laptop as a gift by at least December 9th. Specifically, it must be the 2016 with 512GB SSD and the Radeon 460 video card. Anything else will not suffice and I wont even consider it.

So, what's the quickest way of scoring a MacBook Pro 2016 15' with 512GB SSD and the Radeon 460? Price is not an issue. Time, obviously is an issue.

There's probably people selling them on eBay if price isn't an issue. Otherwise I believe stores are stocking the 1TB/460 BTO models.

Directly from apple, you're likely out of luck. They do stock a 1TB/460 configuration that would work for you in store for pickup.

Third party may be a crap shoot too. Here is B&H for example:

The 1TB option will work, as long as it has the 460 Radeon. How can I find out if the Apple stores in my city have that laptop without actually visiting each store?

http://www.istocknow.com/live/ is your best bet, or calling the local store in the morning, or going into the store and asking.
