quickly moving photos from photos app

I feel like I'm going crazy. I thought I remember easily moving a photo from the photos app to the desktop by clicking and dragging one, and it would copy and save to a folder or desktop. Now when I try to do it, the photo has the green plus sign, and looks like it's dragging to a location and I let go, but it never moves? I'm on beta 10, also. Anyone else got any ideas?

i know someone else reported this on the forum (about Photos), but thought to start a thread; if i drag an image from Messages to the desktop, i get the green + sign, but nothing shows up on the desktop; nothing can be dragged from Photos either (i can export an image in Photos). anyone else?

you can, at least, export from photos (to the desktop, for example). a workaround (for now...)

No problem. I only knew about those because the issue affects me too!
