Quickpwn 2.1 has been released for windows from the dev team.

get it from blog.iphone-dev.org

It works perfect to, took me about 2 mins tops

Quick question to those who have completed this yet...Does this give you the pwnage boot logo or the official apple boot logos? Only reason I ask is because I really dont care all that much for the custom boot logos...Thanks in advance;)

Looks so easy and I'm thinking of giving it a whirl but what are the advantages of jailbreaking a perfectly ( well almost :D ) good 3G iPhone.

If all I get are options to change the color scheme then I think I can live without that.

after pwning 2.1. does anyone notice any sluggishness or lag in
startup or applications?

anything crashing?

seems fine to me...I haven't noticed anything strange yet...but this is my first jailbreak and I haven't intalled any cydia apps yet.

Anyone else having any problems with this? I have an iPhone 3G running 2.1. It's never been jailbroken but quickpwn won't get past "waiting for iphone to connect in recovery mode" My iphone goes into recovery mode fine (shows USB and iTunes). Am I missing something stupid here?

Wow this came out 1hr after I jailbroke 2.1 the "old QuickPwn" Total Commander way.

Quick question before i QuickPwn that i hope someone can help me out with...

Do i have to restore to fresh 2.1, or i can just QuickPwn it if i am already running 2.1?

Also, if i do have to restore to a fresh 2.1 before pwning, would i restore from backup immediately after restoring or after restoring and quickpwning? I know it's noobish questions, but i wanna do things right so i am not panicking...thanks!
