hiya..
im putting this link to a quickpwn guide for mac cos it took me ages to find a guide which seemed to be up to date and straightforward, using the latest software, ie .10.5.5, itunes 8.01, iphone 2.1 .. just qpwned my phone, cant believe i fretted so much about it , took 15mins max, worked first time . no idea what to do next, but im sure ill learn.. enjoy!

ps. if at the end before iphone reboots, it seems to be stuck on apple logo & vibrates, DONT PANIC, jus leave it and it will reboot after 5 mins or so..
pps. just found theres loads of other help on the site too, ie how use cydia, etc ..
