Quickpwn will not unlock 2g iPhone anymore

I have unlocked 2 iPhones before and 1 was upgraded to 2.2.1 and naturally was re-locked (was a mistake) So I downloaded the newer 2.2.1 version of quikpwn and it goes through the process and says it was successful but after the final re-boot it only comes up "Different SIM detected, Please reconnect to iTunes" Why can I not unlock this phone anymore?


Version number is 2.2.1 (5H11)

Did you definatly check the unlock box?

Perhaps it was a fault with an earlier version of QuickPwn, I believe the latest QuickPwn for 2.2.1 is 2.2.2-5.

I don't have a 2G, so I can't personally check

It was definitely checked. I tried the latest version.

You need to restore the phone to a "factory" state first, 2.2.1 is fine for that, but not activated or anything, then run the QuickPwn process.

That will work.

Put the phone into DFU mode, iTunes will tell you it's in recovery mode, then you'll need to restore it (to 2.2.1, preferably). Then run QuickPwn and you should be Jailbroken and unlocked.
