I use 6 pro a lot but often come across videos on the web which I can't save. Most content doesn't prove a problem but some videos don't even provide a save option or indeed any menu.
Is this a copyright thing?

Some videos have a mode called kiosk mode, which is server side. However, on most of them, if you right click (or ctrl + click) on them you can still select "Save as Quicktime Movie"

yeah I know but some don't have any save option. You can't even right click on them! Are then any 3rd party apps that let you save such media clips?

the new version of SnapzXpro (not sure how to spell it) is supposed to have good video capture functions.

i've also come accross this problem, so i've tried looking through the Safari cache, but it's useless trying to find anything in there.

what site is the clip on? let us see if we can save it.

the most recent would be REM's video for 'Bad Day'. Go to REM's site and follow links to their new best of album 'In Time' (left of site, big and blue you can't miss it!) here you have to option to view the video. It opens in a separate quicktime window but with no option button/menu.
