...so I update to QT 7.0.4 and now I can't play MP$'s full screen, now will other QT movies, also no looping back and forth, and can't save off the net unless I have QT PRO?????? Is this a step backward...sure as hell seems like it!
Can anyone comment on this and why in hell Apple did this>>>>
Thank you

Full screen, saving etc. have been blocked for years and years if you haven't bought QuickTime Pro.

Did you buy a Pro license for QuickTime 7 when it came out and the license got lost somehow? If so, you should be able to log into the Apple store, call up your old purchases in the account section, and retrieve your key to turn those features back on.

If you have just upgraded from QuickTime 6, they do make you buy a new Pro license for version 7. Some people reported success using the QT 6 Pro player with the QT 7 libraries when 7 first came out, I don't know if that still works but you could try it if that's your situation.

You may have had QuickTime Pro and simply not realized it. The license is bundled with several Apple and third party software packages.
