I have an mpeg file, which plays with sound, but everytime I export the movie, the new movie export option says there will be no sound becuase the movie doesnt have audio tracks. I need to rip the sound, but although quicktime plays the sound it will not export it. Any ideas? I have tried enabling tracks but that doesnt seem to work.

As far as i know you can't export the audio off an mpeg. You could use audio hijack to grab the audio but you will have to re sync it with the exported video, using final cut / imovie.

hey, great, I was just about to ask the same question! what is this audio hijack? Is it free? Can I perhaps find it on version tracker?
