Quicktime dimming issue

For some reason whenever I am watching a movie in QT fullscreen every 30 seconds the screen will dim for 10 seconds. I tried looking in Energy Saving Controls but I couldn't find anything. Is their a way to stop this from happening?
 
Yeah, stop watching QT files. :rolleyes:

This is a new one on me. Try moving the QT plist file so a new one is created and see what happens. Keep the old plist file in case you need to restore it.
