Hi guys, recently wanted to do screen capture from my Iphone 6S but when connecting with genuine lightning cable it doesn't show any option for my device screen capture when using Movie Recording in Quick Time, can anyone confirm that this is probably disabled by Apple and not available anymore?
Cheers.

I do so without a genuine cable at all times. First plug the iDevice, then start quicktime. in the down arrow next to the record button, you should see your iDevice as one of the available cameras and microphones. and depending on your Mac, make sure that the discrete graphics card is the one running.

Just been confirmed, it won't work particularly with Iphone 6s its either a bug or Apple removed that functionality for Iphone 6s. cheers :)

Well, QuickTime is still available for connecting Mac for screen recording, but I have no idea why it fails to work on your computer, maybe there is something wrong with the cable or something else?

Anyway, aside from using QuickTime, you can also use this iPhone/iPad Recorder to mirror your iPhone 6s to computer without using any cables, it also allows you to record iPhone/iPad screen or take screenshots.
