Im guessing when you export a video using quicktime you can choose .mov or the best quality to transfer videos to the Ipad. As of now QuickTime does not have a "iPad export" like for the iPhone. Just checking if anyone has done this yet, because having a great looking video on the iPad is very important for my purchase. Like many video editors I am sure this tool is great for showing off your editing work for sales. It seems obvious, but I just want to make sure all my video editing looks great, well the same video quality as my current displays. (I mainly use final cut and then QuickTime to choose the export version)
I just tried the iPad and I love it, but there are some things I am just waiting for, 3G is one, but waiting to hear about the "bugs" and other problems that always occur with something new.

QuickTime Player X has a "Save As" option for 720p, which is H.264 at about 5mb/s. Didn't do any critical viewing, but it looked OK.

There's also an AppleTV preset, but that maxes at 24fps for 720p. It converts 1080p30 source to 960x540.
