I just bought iSight & Quicktime 7 Pro from the Apple site, and i used a creditcard registered to my sister (since i dont have one of my own) problem is i had the billing address in her name because i assumed it wouldnt make any difference - however the account seems to be in her name now and the Quicktime Registeration is in her name not mine.

Since its just a key it seems i cant do anything about it... anyone know if i can get them to change the name? It's still the same second name just not the first and of course not Mrs ;)....

Probally give Apple a call?

I tried to email them to get it changed, but they told me to ring instead. I did ring and after a bit of chatting (the person thought i was having trouble entering the key) it seems they cant do anything about the name because its not a 'pysical' problem its just a 'visual' one. :(

I get it but it should have told me which name it was going to use for the Key, mine or the one on the Billing Address then i could have stoped it from happening. £20 for software thats in my sisters name is irritating :p

Actually this is annoying me more so because the problem is a simple one, and one that could be avoided if Apple simply tell you to make sure you have the correct details in the right place before ordering their online software.

I'm either going to have to 'live with it' or pay again. I don't fancy paying £40 for Quicktime Pro 7. I am also fastidious (and suffer from OCD) which means something this simple will bug me, and bug me... I know Apple can't account for people with OCD but really... If i pirated the software i could have whatever user name i wanted -- I'm buying it they could at least give me a 'little' service for the money. Dissapointed today, very.
