Is there a way that I can quit a program on the dock without having to right click it and then click quit. Like hold down q and click it, or something that is infinitely lazy and really saves me little time in the long run, but I want to do so I can have my milliseconds back?

I think that right click/command-click is as fast as it gets. If the app is open you can command-Q to quit it. How fast do you need to quit programs? You probably offset any time savings by posting this message anyway.:)

Save a step and just hold down the left mouse button on the icon, it will pop up the same menu and you can quit or even force quit.
