Hey all, I just got the App Quordy from teh words section of games in the App store. Fun times for sure. I was wondering, since my friend is on the ropes about buying it, if anyone knows if you can use 2 ipod touches to play against one another, the app only lists iPhones, though i can verify single player is great on the touch. I was also curious if anyone knew what dictionary they were using, some of the words are very bizarre to me. Though so far any i've looked up inn dictionary.com have been there.

The online play option allows you to challenge anyone using an iPhone or Touch that has the 2.0 software.

The dictionary is the official Scrabble dictionary.

Quordy on iPod touch

Quordy runs identically on iPhone and iPod touch. Aside from the "Pass and Play" mode (where you can play against someone using only one iPhone or iPod), the two-player challenges currently require internet access. If your iPod touch is on a wi-fi network, it should work fine. iPhones can play over wi-fi or the cell phone network.

The word dictionary is based on TWL06 -- which is commonly used in word games.
