Are you talking about when running XBMC on a jailbroken ATV2?

If so, then yes: Rowmote Pro works. You have to install Rowmote Pro on your iOS device AND install the Rowmote Helper on your ATV2 via NitoTV. This will enable you to use the Rowmote Pro keyboard to do text entry in XBMC.

(The Apple Remote app doesn't seem to work in XBMC, at least it didn't the last time I tried it.)
