Radeon 5500m or 5300m?

Hello, I am interested in buying a macbook pro 16 in. I am wondering which gpu I should get. I am not going to edit, maybe making some music but mostly this is for school. The other difference is that the 5300m macbook will come in a few days while the 5500m will come in 2 weeks. I already have a gaming pc

Depends on what you do in school. History studies? Buy a MacBook Air.

If you already have a gaming PC, a base 5300m should be more than enough. Beside, there's no "future-proofing" a MBP. Next year's base model will still likely be more powerful than this year's advanced model.
