Radeon HD 7950 (modded to 5GT/s and flashed for bootscreen) works on my Mac Pro 3.1.

Today, I just updated OS to 10.13.6 using dodsude mod startup flash (Radeon 79XX series patch checked) and now my OS glitches, works slowly.

But worse than all is that Final Cut Pro 10.4.5 won't start:

What should I do to start FCPX now?

Do you know that it's not really working, no? It's a hack with old Sierra drivers to just get the screen going, but will not work for anything compute.

High Sierra drivers for any GCN GPUs, HD 7950 it's a first generation GCN GPU, needs SSE4.2 instruction set, MP3,1 Xeons only go up to SSE4.1. No processor upgrade will get SSE4.2 for a MP3,1.

You have to change to a newer Mac Pro or if you want to keep the MP3,1, change to a supported NVIDIA GPU like GTX 680 or GTX 780.

Hmm, it showed some GPU load when exporting with compressor, As I remember.

Also, I have GTX 760 GPU is not it enough? I need 780 as minimum?

Now I changed GPU to my old Nvidia 285 GTX (original Mac) to see the difference.

Any supported NVIDIA Kepler GPU.

The only one that I remember having various problems is GTX 750Ti, but GTX 760 will work. Can't be flashed to have pre-boot configuration support/boot screens, tho.

Really, I don't know how this flashing works. But why do you think that it not computes after flashing?

Also, I have another computer. And I'm interested in GTX 760 and HD7950 to get working together in FCPX if it is real...

You should read about SSE4.2 and GCN drivers.

Btw, Apple don’t support NVIDIA and AMD simultaneously.
