Quick question for the GPU knowledgeable on this forum, is the Radeon Pro 560 4GB found in the high end 4K iMac considered a "desktop class" GPU? Apple Insider's review states that the 580 found in the 5K iMac is a desktop class GPU and was just wondering if its the same for the 4K iMac.

Thanks.

As I understand it, AMD no longer makes dedicated "desktop" and "mobile" GPUs. They just under-clock the mobile ones slightly to significantly reduce their TDP so they will work within the reduced mobile cooling envelope.

Interesting. Thanks Wallace. I was hoping you'd chime in. Much appreciated.
